Artist Statement:
My photography captures intimate experiences with the people I care about, that suspend them in those moments. I’m most concerned with the emotional output my photos have on the viewer. Often, my work takes on the aesthetics of the 2000’s, reeking of the teen experience. I continue to use my understanding of colors that I built through drawing, to aid my photography. As I grow into my photography practice, I want to be able to portray the same kitschy scenes I depict in my traditional art.
