Artist Statement:
Between sleep paralysis, pareidolia, and simple tricks of the light, we tend to see things that are not there. I used a chaotic composition and colour palette to express the certain madness that grows from continuous hallucinatory experiences, especially ones that surround a specific trigger. When our minds alter the world around us, the things we perceive are often twisted to conform to our inner thoughts.
