Artist Statement:
I call this piece “My future.” In this piece, I used acrylic paint and pictures cut from magazines on a wooden canvas with Mod Podge as the glue. I wrote “Your Future is Your Choice” because I think you should always do what your heart wants to do. The blurred writing is intentional since you can change your mind as fast as you write. I chose the pictures that I used to reflect the things I want to do when I grow up: travel, cook and dance. The rainbow represents peace, the heart represents love that you make you along the way and the exclamation mark represents the excitement in our future.
