Artist Statement: The focus of my work is on the emotions and body language found in local sports. While watching a sports game I kind of started focusing less on the game and more on what the game means to the players. I want to capture how their sportsmanship, friendship, and love for the game overall affect how they play or how they show their emotion in the game. I want to use this as a chance to not only capture action shots but to catch pictures of what others might not notice. Behind the scene shots. How does their body language show how they feel? How does the atmosphere help them win or lose?
