Artist Statement:
While having a conversation with my sister about our American Dreams, I explained to her that this was mine: To run through the floral fields of Illinois while the sun sets on the horizon. A place to forget about all of my worries, stresses, and the problems of this world enjoying nothing but the world’s natural beauty. My sister told me hers was to have enough money to provide for herself and her future. I thought about it and realized that her dream was probably more realistic, but this is mine, and I love it.
