Artist Statement:
My cartoon illustration is supposed to represent how even if you seem completely different from someone (e.g. speaking a different language), you may still have similar dreams. I used common dreams people have experienced, such as being chased, falling, and meeting a celebrity. I hope kids all around Chicago are able to connect and see that even though they may seem different, they probably still have a lot in common.
