Artist Statement:
I made this art piece because I never really drew human bodies or people for that fact so for a chance I thought I would draw me. I used watercolors, color pencils, and regular pencils to make the shading in my clothes and skin. I wanted to add a lot of color to my skin and clothes to kind of show that brown skin is beautiful and pure. I also wanted to show how Black art is amazing and can be done by young artists like me.
