Artist Statement:
This art captures an obstacle almost every teenager went through. In the world today many people get body shamed whether on social media, family,friends, or classmates or people you are not close to. We live in a world today where we have unrealistic beauty standards.In this piece I have myself looking in the mirror being insecure about my body. There are sticky notes on the wall which have positive comments of self confidence. There are also flowers on the walls which represents love and beauty.
