Artist Statement:
This drawing represents my hopes and goals for the future. I love dancing and I’ve been taking ballet lessons for several years. This year, I’m taking a pre-pointe class and I’m learning how to do a piqué-arabesque. One day, I hope to be able to a piqué-arabesque on pointe shoes, like the dancer in my drawing.
