Artist Statement: I made the work to express myself and the way me and my sibling are feeling through out the changes in our lives as of recent our parent opened up there own restaurant and things drastically changed. for that being we all stopped spending as much time as we used to do, I started doing my own things my parent were busy everyday working our family time seemed to have ended. My sister was the one who was alone for majority of the day coming back from school. I choose to express my drawing back to the times when me and my sister would be participating in activities or event me my sister and my mom would attend. I enjoy working in pencil being able to blend in and shade the drawing make is satisfying seeing the drawing come to life.
