Artist Statement:
This polyptych explores my changing memories, important people in my life, and perspective through collages of photos I took as a kid and recently. To show consistency during this change, the collages are in window frames inspired by those in my family home with lyrics from songs that have stuck with me since childhood in the background, uniting my exhibition through the motif of text. The windows appear to be flooding, with my childhood perceptions of the world sinking to the bottom panels.
