Artist Statement: My name is Noemi Perez, I am a Visual Art major attending Lincoln Park High School. Many of my art pieces include nature designs. I believe that My artwork’s signature has a lot to do with my passion and appreciation for nature. I admire butterflies and their structures and I always find a way to include them as well. Specifically flowers, I love how there are so many beautiful species of flowers and how there are so many different details and so many colors in them. I believe that what we express through our art reveals who we truly are and what we have in our hearts. I love the way so many colors blend and make beautiful vibrant combinations that are pleasing to the eye. I love how colors and details we choose to include in our art always can portray a message to other viewers and how they can express feelings about us and within our being. I hope that my artwork can impact the people who see it and most importantly make people feel joy observing it and motivate them to appreciate the details and God’s creation, nature, earth, animals, and humanity.
