Artist Statement: The overall theme of my work is the 5 Love Languages. The 5 Love Languages include physical touch, words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service, and gift giving. The contribution of these art pieces is for the audience to understand a deeper connection to the love hierarchy, understanding both the good and bad in undergoing concepts. As a teenager, I recently learned the importance of different types of love, heartfelt and not so genuine. The choice of choosing which parts of love we view as a society, made me realize the journey of undergoing emotions through a blind state, where these pieces exhibit my specific feelings about how love can define a relationship with those around.
