Artist Statement: Sometimes, dreams can feel so real that I wonder if they happened. They evoke a range of emotions in me and give me the impression that they are a reflection of my experiences and the world around me. I utilized colored pencils to add the finer details to the hair and face features in my artwork, and watercolor for the base and background. To get a more seamless color blend in some areas of the art piece, I utilized alcohol-based markers.
