Description: This piece is my mother’s hometown in Poland called “Laszki”. I visit the town every year and since this picture was taken on a rainy day I thought watercolor might have been a good medium for this piece. From being little and playing in the sand on the street called “Zagunie”, now that is covered in cement, I reminisce the time spent on this exact street. This street brings me joy, and comfort. The church in the background that my grandparents got married in, and the house in the background that belongs to my cousin. Laszki is not only a town, it is where I grew up, it is my home.
