Artist Statement: My name is Becksen Haldeman, and I am proud to call Lincoln Park High School my academic home, as well as my creative playground. As a dedicated photographer, I specialize in capturing the essence of some of life’s most precious moments. In addition to my work within the CPS system, my lens extends to the broader landscape of Illinois high school sports through collaborations with the IHSA. Documenting championship games, memorable matches, and unforgettable moments, I strive to showcase the resilience and talent of young athletes as they compete at the highest levels. Beyond the realm of high school sports, I am privileged to have had the opportunity to work with esteemed professional teams such as Purdue Men’s Basketball and the Windy City Bulls. Collaborating with these organizations allows me to capture the intensity and excitement of professional athletics, highlighting the skill and dedication of elite athletes as they strive for victory on the court.
