Description: This artwork represents multiple parts of my identity. This represents my identity of my friends and my school that I go to which is a huge part of my identity especially in the past 4 years. This was a photo that was captured during senior sunrise by the montrose ledge. The water in the background was done in stippling to show that difference between the ground and the water. We can also see that sun coming up and the rays coming from it using cross hatching.
Artist Statement: The concept being shown in my work is how the events in your life can create the person you are today which is why my overarching theme of my exhibition is identity. Throughout with my life I felt as though the sports I did, cultures I am in, friends I have made, and many more events in my life has made me who I am today. All of these artworks represent my life and what is apart of my identity. These artworks represent my identity because they have been hugely influential in my life, have been a big part of my life, and have changed me in my life.
