Artist Statement: This is my community superhero project. I researched six different community needs: environment, education, transportation, safety, health/wellness, and housing insecurity. Based on the research I found that schools were becoming a problem and I wanted to help with that, so I create a community superhero that addressed this need. My superhero has the power to build new schools worldwide, I also made a thing where people could vote worldwide for NEW SCHOOLS, and my superhero is going to put signs up all over the world to show how important school is for kids. I created a badge that represents these powers. One thing I learned through this project is how to animate. I hope to spread awareness of this need in the community by showcasing my art.
