Description: Shadows Behind the Light was inspired by narrative and conceptual photography. By manipulating elements such as chess pieces under a projection of light, I was able to create a story by projecting shadows “under the moonlight.” The overall message is open to the audience since they are able to interpret the events of this story based on what their imagination comes up with. A form of altered reality is created when people are reminded of how ambiguous perspective and reality can be.
