Description: The unruly, jagged and skewed lines in this piece help demonstrate the feeling of stress. The images that you see in your brain when you are anxious or stressed are not clear, and in fact are all jumbled up and scribbled around. That was my inspiration with this piece, the feeling of stress bringing dark and unfocused thoughts that cause this mess of shapes and lines. The colors gray and black are known to represent gloom and misery, and that was the intention with these colors.
