Artist Statement: My art is supposed to represent a character that I made named Tony. Tony was inspired by a friend of mine. I drew Tony eating his words, as the word he eats says, “Eat your words.” I thought it would be very creative and funny to add him eating those specific words. I enjoyed making this art piece, it was fun! 🙂 The challenges I faced was drawing the background of the art piece. I struggled with painting it because I found it difficult trying not to paint over the outline I did for Tony. I believe I still need practice to overcome this challenge.
