Artist Statement: At the moment the Gaboon Viper population is still very threatened due to the constant loss of habitat. There are less of them out there because they are used for illegal wildlife trafficking. The purpose of my artwork is to give emotional appeal to the audience that Gaboon Vipers are indeed used for human consumption. Gaboon Vipers are kept in harm for unreasonable reasons. In my work I showed fear that these Gaboon Vipers are facing.
