Description: My artwork was inspired by Ana Teresa Barboza’s embroidery techniques. I embroidered my old pointe shoe from my ballet class. I also used the colors of the flowers of my birth months for inspiration for the flowers. My intentions were to make flowers throughout the shoe. I spaced them out to ensure equal, asymmetrical balance.
