Description: In this artwork, I used tissue paper in different shades of blue, pink, and orange to show a sunrise. I also chose to rip it into strips and wrap them around so that the colors fade into each other. This work relates to my theme of identity because a big part of my life is going to my grandma’s house in northern Michigan each summer. Some of my favorite memories are from waking up early to watch the sun rise over the lake.
