Artist Statement: “The Garden” was made to show different words I use to describe my family. I used the Victorian Flower Language as a way to describe the words in a visual sense. This work means a lot to me because of my connection both with nature, which I try to spend as much time as possible with, and my family, who help me grow and bloom every day.
