Artist Statement: The longer something lives, the more it grows. In “The Golden Series: Growth”, it shows how important it is to know how much something can grow no matter what it takes. Inside the growing flowers, we can see the center growing away in order to reach the outside. Surrounding the flowers, roses are stemless and floating symbolizing how you have to grow without something holding you down. On the top of the painting, it shows how not everything is gonna go smoothly or in a straight line, but that it’s gonna take a few tries to find the right answer. Overall, the painting shows the true meaning of Growth.
