Artist Statement: My medium is paintings and drawings. The materials I work commonly with are oil paints and pen. The process of my work is I use myself as a model and reference for different poses in my work, then I create a final draft of the poses, and then I transfer the work either to canvas or paper. work is an extension of myself and my emotions. Many of the pieces I make deal with what I have been through or what I see around me. my work is rhythmic, quiet, and light in some, but in others, it’s loud, irregular, and dark. My work deals with topics of mental health relationships that I have experienced.
