Artist Statement: In this photo, it takes place later in the day, close to midnight. This photo has the street and business signs; the street life down below, shining in from the windows. I saw this opportunity and realized that I needed to take. this photo. The techniques I tried to capture were shadows and silhouettes. I was just walking around my house at night and was mesmerized when I saw the opportunity. I didn’t plan anything, and I just took the photos. The only thing I had adjusted was where I was standing and the zoom on my the camera. This photo goes to show just how much lighting can affect a photo. I just felt that this photo had the best light in it. It looks the coolest out of all the photos I’ve taken. The colors really seem to pop a lot, and really make the photo complete. The only thing I would change would be the fact I had used my phone, and not a professional camera. I felt like things came out really good. Nothing was really surprising to me. There is always room for minor improvements, but I am really satisfied with what I have.
