Artist Statement: The artwork I made was created in a drawing software. I enjoy creating digital art specifically, and drawing in general has been such a major part of my childhood and I wanted to depict how it affected me up until recently. It’s my Senior year in high-school– it sure did fly by quickly– and while I had my fair share of triumphs and tribulations, I am finally at the threshold of adult life.
Making artwork is something I truly feel was a part of me at birth. It helps me cope with the disappointment and stress life brings which I feel is a blessing in itself. It takes many forms such as, my family, friends, acquaintances, hobbies and ideas/beliefs. These things, along with just knowing I have something that is irrevocable; my love, and thankfulness of art, makes me so very happy.
