Artist Statement: My artwork is called “Spirit in the Sky.” This piece was inspiration from a thing in my sketchbook. When I was making this, I knew how much similar it was to all my other themes, so I decided to do tempera paint. I went out of my comfort zone by using paint because I don’t paint much so it’s basically new. This project was really fun and I’d definitely do it again!
