Artist Statement: It takes place in a futuristic society, where US and Mexico merged. However, there still exists a social hierarchy and division between people who were previously from Mexico and the US. There is also a hidden truth about the job of the military in the present time and during the unifying of Mexico and the US. The character finds out that the military coerced Mexico into unifying by exposing a Mexican village with marigold poison, previously believed to have been a terrorist attack by a rebel group.
