Artist Statement: The title of my piece is Disfigured, and I wanted to advocate for identity disorders are such a huge spectrum and something which gets everyone including the one affected beyond puzzled. The rubix cube is the person’s head to show what’s being mixed up just like a rubix cube. There is no mouth to show how these people feel silenced at the hands of these disorders.
