Description: This piece was done freehand none of it was planned out. the shapes I saw in the watercolor influenced what i drew with the pen.
Artist Statement: My art this year relates to non man-made structures found in nature. Examples of this would be bee nests or cocoons. I’ve always been interested in work surrounding nature and have always found inspiration from nature. In the past my work has reflected on more imaginative worlds and creatures. Throughout all my work what is constant seems to be my openness to express and draw whatever I feel is interesting me at the time, not constricting myself to a specific medium or subject matter. My best work has always been created without a specific plan. My work comes out better when I have more leniency to be more fluid as well as more privacy. my work over time has become more and more heavily influenced by nature.
