Artist Statement: The title of the art piece is Geisha, I made this piece because it was an assignment for class and I chose for my piece to be of an Asian woman wearing cultural clothing. This piece means beauty to me I’ve always admired the traditional clothing worn on the other side of the globe. I’m trying to have my audience also admire the woman in the painting along with what she’s wearing the same way I did.
