Description: During the lockdown, I began creating a lot more textile artwork and involving my young children in the process. I prefer use recycled fabrics found in home textiles, so I asked them to collaborate with me by cutting holes into the base of this quilt: a tablecloth and bedsheet patchwork. I used hand appliquéd found fabrics and added embroidery to “mend” and hand quilt this piece. It now hangs on the wall in our home.
