Artist Statement: This artwork is meant to shed light on the beauty within the features we don’t feel confident about. The bold orange and yellow are meant to emphasize our confidence we should have. The blooming red rose represents the goddess of beauty and love. Through this symbolism my goal was to convey happiness and confidence in one of the features that is commonly altered through botox or even surgical procedures.
