Artist Statement: When it comes to my focus in art, there has always been a fascination with the exploration of the imaginary for me. The endless possibilities that come through the realm of fiction is so intriguing; so much can be explored and so many stories can be created as you bend the rules of reality through the visual arts. If there’s one word I can describe my creative process as, it’s experimental. Throughout my journey, I aim to broaden my horizons and learn how to use multiple mediums for art and approach different artworks in different manners. To me, living is all about trying new things and tackling different approaches to an objective; and it’s the same when it comes to my own work. The greatest principle to me when it comes to art is that it should always be a fun process and come from a place of genuinity. Art to me is something you build a bond with, and it could teach you lessons and tell you stories or even jokes. It could even make you feel an emotion and it could stay ingrained within your mind. I aim to tell such stories through my own art and create wondrous worlds in hopes that one day my audience will build a bond with my creations.
