Artist Statement: A popular walking trail in Olympic National Park takes hikers along these misty falls. Water tumbles past boulders, enhancing the atmosphere of this rainforest, covered in mosses, ferns and fungi. I reimagined this scene in mixed media embroidery, using all the greens I could find in my sewing box.
