Artist Statement: By The Sword is a song about pushing through adversity toward discovery. It’s about a dream worth sacrificing everything for, and listening to the voice inside one’s self. By the sword represents living a non-complacent life, rather an engaged, truthful and purposeful one, despite what the masses may embrace. The message is finding your purpose, and letting no distraction cloud your own path to self discovery. From the album Apocalypse in Increments. Released in 2006 via PunkNews/Epitaph Records. Nationwide distribution and tour dates followed through 2008.
