School: Distinctive Schools: Art in Motion – A Creative Arts School for Middle/High
Artist Statement: Throughout the past several years, I have found myself gravitating towards this piece at several different points in my life, for several different reasons. When I was younger, it was a song of rebellion and retaliation. A few years later, it was about mental exhaustion and giving into the mental heaviness of my life. Today, it is a song of reflecting on my accomplishments and driving myself into the future with just a little more experience than I had before.
