Artist Statement: In the beginning, my artwork didn’t have a specific meaning. But as I continued to work on it the meaning started to change, it focuses on nature. The very bright, bold colors in the border are intended to try and distract you from the inside. The inside is trying to bring awareness to nature. It’s all very abstract, with the bright border and the flowers that are hanging upright instead of down.
