Artist Statement: Art is a way to express emotion and belief; at least that’s what I perceive it as. In my artwork, Endless Frustration, I portray the theme of mental health. I focus on this a lot because mental health is such an important aspect in everyone’s lives. My artwork represents not only me, but my community and the world around me. As humans, we tend to avoid accepting pain or anger, but I focus on expressing the emotions that we all encounter.
