Artist Statement: This piece offers a variety of flags, representing the different places a person can come from. This is of importance because these different origins can impact who a person is/becomes, because along with them there are different beliefs, ideas, practices, things that have the ability to influence a person. Personally for me, that is the Philippines. Therefore, it is one of the larger flags in this piece.
