Artist Statement: Hello, I drew this eye and really like it. I think it looks pretty realistic if I do say so myself (Which I do). I used a mix of charcoal pencils, graphite pencils, and tortillons to make this drawing. The most difficult part was the eyelashes and I think the hard work that I put in payed off. The technique I used for the eyelashes is one where you draw a squiggly line on top of the lash line and then follow the curves to make the base lash, then just add on to it.
