Artist Statement: Inspired by an earlier work, a crime board. A newspaper is a source used to keep people updated on what’s going on, making this raise awareness. The white splatter of paint is meant to symbolize the blood of innocent lives lost which is why it’s done in white paint. The placement of the clips is in a sort of disarray, depicting the chaos found in the world. The figure in the bottom left corner is presenting the piece while being unable to obtain the big question, What world is this?
