Description: This piece is called Buzz Buzz. I created it not too long ago, about a month at the time of writing this (so early November). I used pencil to sketch out the figure in the center, marker for the background, and white gel pen for the eyes and bugs around the figure. This piece is supposed to represent some kind of feeling of being watched. The eye above the figure is supposed to be looking down on them and watching them. The bugs are there to make the figure feel swarmed, overwhelmed. Even though there aren’t many bugs there, the constant buzz coming from them makes it feel like they’re surrounded by millions of them. The liquid coming from the eyes is supposed to show how the figure feels like their reality is melting, like it’s not real or it’s shifting into something unbearable. There’s no particular reason why I made the figure look how they do, it’s just how they ended up looking. I guess it’s supposed to say that anyone can feel like they’re being watched or like they’re overwhelmed.
