Description: I have made this piece of art because I like the singer that I have drawn. Her name is Marina and I have listened to her for about six years, her music has always meant a lot to me and has helped me through a lot. I made this piece using colored pencil and sharpie to outline everything. I have always liked coloring with colored pencil so I pushed myself to do a realistic piece with colored pencil since I had never done that before. This piece of art means a lot to me because I worked very hard on this piece and I was very critical of everything I did with it. I did not take any short cuts to make working on this piece easier, I colored in everything with colored pencil even when my hands started to blister from coloring it so much. I didn’t stop this piece or give up on it because this singer, Marina, means a lot to me.
