Description: “Can you hear my voice?” Is an artwork I created around voting time; people were voting more than ever this year, but they were unaware if it was making a difference. Normally people wouldn’t vote because they say their opinion doesn’t matter since the electoral college get the last say, but this year was different- people came out and voted in droves despite the obstacles. My theme was inspired by politics, Mark Bryan was my inspiration. He presented politics in apparel of ways- he critiques and states his opinion- often time he does that through fables. He determined the theme of this artwork, and the style derived from Alexandros Pyromallis; I admired his style of ghouls and grotesque, even though my artwork wasn’t as gruesome it still exhibits the style of ghouls.
