Artist Statement: Luna is a piece that concentrates on hues, pressure, and texture. This piece was made to experiment with the harsh lines present in the waves of the sea to contrast with the softness of the sky. I did this by experimenting with different brush strokes to simulate textures present in a traditional painting.
