Artist Statement:
This drawing is a digital drawing of an original photo I took. The photo originally was taken with the intent of bringing my neutral or calm side out as the colors of my clothing made me feel comfortable with who I am. The background is an image of space, hence the title of this artwork. Inspired by the song The Last of the Real Ones by Fall Out Boy, this made me think of how I really wasn’t alone in the universe. I have friends, I have family and a partner, and they all make me feel wanted and loved, and see the world as a beautiful place.
